Red ist der bis jetzt professionellste Film an dem ich mitgewirkt habe. Er handelt vom Versuch und Scheitern aus einer unangenehmen Situation auszubrechen. Kleine Dinge können oft große Dinge auslösen und uns dazu bringen vieles grundlegend zu überdenken.
Da sich die Geschichte selbst vielleicht nicht sofort erschließt, mag im ersten Moment der trichromatische visuelle Eindruck im Vordergrund stehen. Dieser war dabei meine Hauptaufgabe dieser Produktion.
Dieser Film enstand während meines Auslandssemesters in Finnland, zusammen mit Kollegen aus ganz Europa. Dabei war es interessant zu sehen wie die selben Ideen und Konzepte ganz unterschiedlich auf Menschen verschiedener Nationen und mit verschiedenen Hintergründen wirken können.

Up to now I would call Red the most professional film I’ve ever worked on. It is a story about the try and failure to break out of an unpleasant situation. Sometimes even small things can make us stop and start new plans. As intended the idea behind doesn’t reveal itself easily, but only gives subtle clues. The overall experience of “RED” may therefore be more based on the visual language and simplicity of this film. The visual effects also were what I mainly worked on in this production.
When I did this short film I was doing my semester abroad in Finland working in a team with people from all over Europe. What I found interesting was the fact that the same ideas and concepts can have hugely different impact on people from different nations and backgrounds.
